We’re a veteran-owned small company—actually, we’re more a micro-company—but we have big plans!

Bob Miglin, our company president, formed HyperMedia Corporation in September 1992. The company evolved from a sole proprietorship, StarDotStar Technologies. The new name acknowledged some leading edge technologies of those days, hypertext and hypermedia. The first success of the company was development of Hyper-5000, a computerized, electronic library of over 1,200 pages of DoD Directive 5000.1, DoD Instruction 5000.2, DoD Manual 5000.2-M, and OMB Circular A-109.
Hyper-5000 facilitated research, reference, and review of these core, Federal and DoD acquisition publications.

The work also opened the door to our first Government contract in 1995, supporting the OSD office responsible for management of those documents. In testament to our performance, we continue to support that project today.

In 2003, Mike Marro joined the firm. Mike brings extensive expertise in and knowledge of Information Technology (IT). He supports the OSD office responsible for the acquisition of IT systems and overall management of networks and information.

In 2005, Dave Clagett and Tim Courington joined HyperMedia Corp. Tim is a former program manager and Military Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Acquisition). Dave was a military contracting officer with an unlimited warrant and considerable experience in major contracting operations, in both the US and Europe. Dave and Tim support the OSD office chartered by Dr. Paul Wolfowitz, former Deputy Secretary of Defense, to rapidly provide needed materiel to our warfighters engaged in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Our most recent accession was to engage the services of Jim Carlson. Jim not only supports Defense Acquisition Policy with Bob, but is also our Corporate Counsel.
